The Kentucky Derby Party — Returns

Are you ready?

Enjoy the food, fun and fashion of the Kentucky Derby while taking a run at mental illness. Everyone is encouraged to dress like you’re at the actual derby, create your own hat, join in the festivity and excitement. Enjoy the “Run for the Roses” and a wonderful dinner banquet and help raise funds to battle mental illness—all while having lots of fun.

This year’s event includes: prizes for best / unique hats, silent auction, and games of chance.

Funds raised at this year’s event will go to our partners, whose goals align with the DanO Fund mission of fighting the stigma of mental illness.

Such as: Face It Foundation, Burnsville Behavioral Health Unit, Helping Paws

This year we look to fill the venue so please join us and feel the love, not necessarily for horses…but for those people who could use some Hope!

Picture yourself in the winner’s circle. Here is your chance to be a horse owner in this year’s Kentucky Derby! Go it alone or create a “syndicate” (multiple owners).

Details:

Cost: $500. Limit 20 owners (individuals/syndicates)
Attend the “Horse Owner Draw Ceremony” at 2:30pm
Random draw for horses at 3:00pm
Payouts: 1 Winner = $1000 / 1 Place = $800 / 1 Show = $600
Disclaimer: No refunds if your horse is scratched or disqualified on the day of the race.
